Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved planning events. From the smallest birthday gathering to a wedding for 500, I thoroughly enjoy every element–creating the vision, sourcing vendors, suggesting custom details, and organizing all the logistics so that the day flows seamlessly and the hosts and guests are free to HAVE A BALL.
I'm excited to announce that I'm expanding my event planning services to Michigan; particularly the Thumb area. I was born and raised in PORT AUSTIN, and have so many memories of the lake, the local theatre, special friends and tight-knit community. My parents owned ‘Bubar’s Bakery’ in the early 70’s which is why a GREAT CAKE has been the cornerstone of our family milestone celebrations!
After relocating to the Indianapolis, Indiana area in my teens, I continued to maintain connections to the area, and I’m so excited to offer my services to Michigan families and their celebrations!
I’ve spent the past 20+ years in the wedding industry, primarily as a planner and designer. It was a great way to have a flexible schedule while raising a family, and fulfill my love for helping people plan and seeing them through to the celebration itself. More recently, I spent five years as the wedding specialist for a caterer, and overseeing the grand opening of their 18,000 square foot multi event space. I currently assist clients at A Classic Party Rental, the largest event rental company in Indiana. In this season of my life, I’m drawn back to the place I loved so much and am ready to bring my knowledge and experience to you!
I realized much of what I do is via email, zoom, and phone; so why not bring my services to the Thumb? I’ll be in the area as needed to accommodate venue/client meetings and then again the weekend of each event.
Another perk of my job in Indianapolis is that we can provide specialty rental linen service to the area for any event needs-matching your color scheme and decor to make your event even more special!
I have a passion for using my industry and local vendor knowledge to help clients with resources and ideas that make planning fun and easy!
